in love with Zoya - Apple

When I first saw the swatches of the Zoya sunshine collection I immediately fell in love with Apple. Little did I know that pictures don't do this polish justice, she's sooo much better in real life!

Toen ik de eerste swatches zag van de Zoya Sunshine collectie was ik gelijk erliefd op Apple. Wat ik nog niet wist is dat foto's deze lak niet op haar best laten zien, ik het echt is ze nog veeeel mooier!

Zoya Apple in the sun

Color
Bright apple green with alot of golden shimmer, it's very vibrant and sparkly!
Couldn't stop staring at it while I wore it for 5 straight days in a row, she just kept on surprising me.

Kleur
Helder appeltjes groen met heel veel gouden shimmer, het is echt heel erg opvallend en glinsterend!
Kon niet stoppen ernaar te kijken alle 5 dagen achter elkaar dat ik deze lak droeg, ze bleef me maar verbazen.

Application
Great, like most Zoya's, nice brush that allows you to paint quite neat ( unfortunately I'm a messy painter, no brush can fix that )
I did 3 coats on these pictures, I could have done two but then I would have had a little visible nailline.

Applicatie
Prima, zoals de meeste Zoya's, fijn borsteltje waar je redelijk netjes mee kan lakken ( helaas wil ik nog wel eens kliederig lakken, geen enkel borsteltje lost dat op ).
Op deze foto's draag ik 3 laagjes, maar 2 had ook prima gekund hoor, maar dan zag je nog een heel klein beetje mijn nagelrand er doorheen.

I love green and I love shiney things, so this polish is definately one of my favourite at this time!
I even did a pedi with it tonight. Usually I don't wear green on my toes, I prefer bright blue/turquoise, hot pink or fire engine red as a base for my pedi. But this green is so sparkly and fun that I just couldn't resist.

Ik hou van groen en ik hou van glimmende dingen, dus deze lak is absoluut één van van favorieten op dit moment!
Ik heb er zelfs vanavond mijn pedi mee gedaan. Normaal draag ik nooit groen op mijn teentjes, ik geef de voorkeur aan knal blauw/turkooise, fel roze of brandweerwagen rood als basis voor mijn pedi. Maar deze groen is zo glimmend en vrolijk dat ik het niet kon weerstaan.

I really understand why Zoya call this the Sunshine collection, the golden parkles in this polish really look like the sun is shining through the polish :-)

Ik begrijp echt waarom Zoya deze collectie de Sunshine collectie noemt, al die gouden glimmertjes laten het echt lijken of de zon door de lak heen schijnt!
