Magnet design from smART Nails + Giveaway -Part 6

This design from smART Nails is called "magnet", I don't know why it's called like that, but it does look amazing! I wanted to do something fun with this design and then I found this picture by Liana's Nails and I knew these were the colors I wanted to use.

I really love how this turned out, not as nice as the mani I was inspired by, but the colors work really well together!

I'm really tired, so I'm keeping it short today, here is another picture of this mani, this one is taken without sunlight (pictures above are taken in the sunlight):

Golden Oldie Thursday (GOT) Polish Challenge - Coral

While scrolling through all the beautiful pictures on Instagram I noticed someone mentioning a GOT Polish Challenge (can't remember on whose IG account I've seen this), which means Golden Oldie Thursday Polish Challenge. Hmmmm, interesting, what does it mean????

After a few clicks I found out this is a weekly nailart challenge in wich you are supposed to use your 'golden oldies' (polishes over a year old, preferably worn before). Well HELLO, have you seen my helmer? Drawers full of polishes that fit this 'golden oldie' label! 

Only trouble is... I suck at nailart, big time.

But I found out, it doesn't have to be very complicated, it is all for fun and to get to wear those old polishes again (or dust off the old untrieds).

Sooooooooo here is my first contribution to the Golden Oldie Thursday Polish Challenge

April 10th - Coral

Coral. Hmmm, I used Wikipedia to help me find a coral polish from my stash, because I didn't know exactly which of my polishes are officially called coral. 

My good old Herôme - Marrakech (from 2011) matched what wiki says is the color coral.

My 'elaborate' nailart (winkwink) is done by placing glitter and stars on some nails.

Because Wiki also said that the complementary color of coral is teal, I decided to use teal as the accent color in this mani.

So I really like this challenge, it's only once a week and it does not have difficult themes like: 'paint a Van Gogh' on your nails. They just give you a color or a theme and you can do anything you like with that as long as your polish is over a year old.

Jindie Nails - Fantastical

A few weeks a go I ordered 3 Jindie Nails polishes. I don't have much experience with indie nailpolishes, so I decided to buy three mini bottles: Candy Land, Quit Staring at my Melons! and Fantastical. They looked amazing in all the swatches I've seen on the blogs, but I was sceptical about their quality. You know the indie polishes are home made, you don't know what they are brewing in their cauldrons. Sometimes it's better to leave things to the professionals.
But after trying al three of these Jindie Nails polishes, I can honestly tell you that the quality is very good! They last for several days without chipping, the glitters don't curl and the color of the glitters don't bleed into the polish.

Today I'm showing you the first of the three polishes I ordered: Fantastical
This is the official description of fantastical:
Fantastical:  Bright, pastel coral crelly (cream/jelly) with a mix of satin matte aqua hex and regular sized stars, metallic and holographic teal smaller sized stars, squares, hex and large dots, turquoise, green/gold iridescent hex, plus beautiful color shifting teal shimmer.  Opaque in 2-3 coats.  Meant to be worn on its own.

Ofcourse I didn't listen and layered 2 coats of Fantastical over Essie Tart Deco. It looked pretty, but I have to admit I think it looks better on it's own.

The combination of colors, glitter, shimmer, shapes and sizes is so much fun!!!
The first coat I just painted my nails with the polish, the second coat I fished for the larger glitter so every nail had at least one large glitter. I understand this is not how you are supposed to do this and that the randomness is part of the fun, but this is how I did it.

NOTD: Saint George is Wild at Heart

My baby is 8 weeks old now and I'm painting my nails again! The first 6 weeks I didn't have time to paint them because I was busy figuring out how all the baby-stuff worked. But after those first 6 weeks I got that 'itch' again so when the baby was taking his afternoon nap I painted my nails. I was staring and smiling at my nails like it was the first time ever I wore nailpolish.
The first week I wore NfuOh 65, a light blue holographic polish and the week after that China Glaze Techno Teal, also a holo. I chose holographic polishes because they dry super fast which is important for me in case baby Tyler wakes up.
When I had an hour for myself last Friday evening I used it to do a new mani. I chose Color Club Wild at Heart, which I absolutely love. I also received my bottle of A England Saint George that week so I had to use that one also in the mani.

Mijn baby is nu 8 weken oud en ik lak mijn nagels weer! De eerste 6 weken had ik geen tijd om mijn nagels te lakken omdat ik nog aan het uitzoeken was hoe alle babydingen werkten. Na de 6 weken kreeg ik die 'kriebel' weer en toen de baby 's middags op bed lag ben ik lekker mijn nagels gaan lakken. Ik heb de hele tijd naar mijn nagels zitten staren en lachen alsof het de eerste ker ooit was dat ik nagellak droeg.
De eerste week droeg ik NfuOh 65, een lichtblauwe holografische lak, de week daarna droeg ik China Glaze Techno Teal, ook een holo. Ik heb nu de voorkeur voor holografische lakjes omdat die sneller drogen en dat is belangrijk voor me omdat ik niet een natte mani wil beschadigen als baby Tyler wakker wordt.
Toen ik afgelopen vrijdagavond een uurtje voor mezelf had ben ik dus weer lekker mijn nagels gaan lakken. Ik heb gekozen voor Color Club Wild at Heart, ik ben gek op deze lak. Ik had ook die week mijn flesje A England Saint George ontvangen, dus die moest ik ook gebruiken in de mani.

Color
Purple: Color Club Wild at Heart is a purple scattered holo and you get a true rainbow in it.
Teal: A England Saint George is a teal scattered holographic polish. The holo is much more subtle and does not show a rainbow of colors, but a green/blue rainbow. Never seen anything like this, the holo goes from  bright goldengreen to the brightest blue, VERY pretty.

Kleur
Paars: Color Club Wild at Heart is een paarse lak met verspreide holo en je ziet er een prachtige regenboog in.
Blauwgroen: A England Saint George is een blauwgroene lak met ook verspreide holo. Deze holo is veel subtieler en je ziet geen complete regenboog erin, maar een regenboog die bestaat uit alle kleuren groen en blauw. Ik heb echt nog nooit zoiets gezien, de regenboog gaat van licht goudgroen naar fel blauw. ONWIJS mooi!

Application
Both polishes are onecoaters.
Wild at Heart is an older polish and my bottle could use some thinner as it has gotten a bit too thick and goopy. When it was new it applied just perfect.
Saint George is brand new bottle and I almost got a bit emotional when applying it: this polish is a dream come true. Not only do I adore this color, it is soooo incredibly creamy and it evens out in a second leaving a perfect smooth and glossy polished nail. Did I say it is a onecoater? Love love love. Need multiple backups.

Applicatie
Beide lakjes dekken in één laag.
Wild at Heart is een wat ouder lakje en mijn flesje mag eigenlijk wel wat verdund worden, want hij is echt een beetje dik en klodderig geworden. Maar toen het een nieuw flesje was, was alles helemaal perfect.
Saint George is een nieuw flesje en ik werd er bijna een beetje emotioneel van toen ik 'm opdeed: deze lak is een droom die waarheid is geworden. Niet alleen is de kleur waanzinnig mooi, het is ook nog eens een perfect bijna creme-achtig lakje dat zalig lakt, en je nagels zien er direct perfect glad en streeploos gelakt uit. In één laagje dus! Liefde op het eerste gezicht. Meerdere backups zijn noodzakelijk!

And a week or two ago I accidentally found a bottle of Gosh Holographic! Say whaaat??? Yes I didn't know Gosh temporarily re-released their most coveted polish as a Limited Edition so my jaw dropped when I found it. Ofcourse there was only one bottle left or I would have bought a few more. But I'm now the happy owner of a bottle Gosh Holographic. I hope rumours are true and in 2013 it will become part of the core collection, but I'm not sure it that's true.

Een week of twee geleden vond ik onverwacht een flesje Gosh Holographic! Waaaaatttt???? Ja het is echt waar, ik wist helemaal niet dat Gosh deze opnieuw uitbracht als Limited Edition dus mijn mond klapte open toen ik deze zag staan. Natuurlijk was er nog maar 1 flesje, anders had ik er zeker meer gekocht. Maar ik ben nu dus de gelukkige eigenaar van een flesje Gosh Holographic! Hopelijk zijn de geruchten waar en wordt deze lak in 2013 onderdeel van de vaste collectie, maar ik weet dus niet zeker of dat waar is.

And here is another picture of me and my cute little boy. He is growing so fast! Today we had the check ups at the health center and at 2 months he now weighs 6,7 kilo (approx 14,5 pound) and 63 centimeters long (approx 25 inch) . Which means that he is a big baby boy :-) So happy dat he is healthy and growing well!

En hier is nog een foto van mij en mijn lieve kleine jongen. Hij groeit zo snel! Vandaag hadden we controles bij het consultatiebureau en met twee maanden weegt hij nu 6,7 kilo en hij is 63 centimeter lang. Dat betekent dat hij een klein reusje is :-) Ik ben erg blij dat hij gezond is en goed groeit!

Nailmail! Woohoo, I received my Misa haul yesterday :-D Bottleshots & Swatches

Last Wednesday I had the luck of reading about an online webstore that had a huge sale on Misa polishes, every Misa polish was sold for 1 Euro! *insert happydance here*
Misa is one of my favorite brands, so I rushed to the site to place my order. While placing my order, lot's of polishes that were already in my basket changed to 'sold out', but these are the ones I was able to get!

Afgelopen woensdag had ik het geluk om te ontdekken dat een online webstore een enorme uitverkoop had op Misa nagellakjes, ieder lakje werd verkocht voor 1 Euro! *voeg hier vreugdedansje toe*
Misa is één van mijn favoriete merken, dus ik haastte me naar de site om een bestelling te plaatsen. Terwijl ik mijn bestelling plaatste versprongen lakjes die ik al in mijn mandje had naar 'uitverkocht', maar dit zijn degenen die ik nog heb kunnen krijgen!

16 beautiful bottles nailpolish, almost all of them with the amazing creamy one coat application that I love this brand so much for. 

16 prachtige flesjes nagellak, bijna allemaal met de geweldige crèmige lak die in één laag dekt waardoor ik zo van dit merk hou.

SOOO happy these colors were still available, look how great they look!!!!
I'm completely in looove with Let's Go Green, it's so bright and colorful.

Ik ben volledig verliefd op Let's Go Green, wat een lekker fel kleurrijk lakje is dat!

I don't wear purples often, but I'm very happy with these. For some reason my camera wasn't able to capture how amazing they look in real life, but believe me: they look great!

De eerste 3 lakjes zagen er al geweldig uit in één dikkere laag.

Alleen Denim&Lace is 4 lagen.

Ik draag niet zo vaak paarse lak, maar ik ben wel blij dat ik deze nu heb. Mijn camera krijgt het om wat voor rare reden dan ook niet voor elkaar om te laten zien hoe mooi deze lakjes in het echt zijn, maar geloof me: ze zijn echt mooi.

All swatches above are 2 coats, but already looked nice in one thick layer. No topcoat is used here.

Push Upon it is a bit more pink in real life, very pretty.

Party In The Masquerade is an amazing neon (needs topcoat), I immediately did a pedi with it! Being pregnant makes my feet HUGE and fat (muck like LOTR's Frodo, but without the hair) so I need to keep my toenails perfectly polished to compensate for them being out of proportion.

Alle swatched hierboven zijn 2 lagen, maar zagen er al goed uit in één dikke laag. Ik heb hier geen topcoat gebruikt.

Push Upon It is meer roze in het echt, heel mooi.

Party In The Masquerade is een prachtige neon (heeft topcoat nodig), ik heb er gelijk een pedi mee gedaan! Zwangerschap zorgt ervoor dat mijn voeten echt GROOT en dik zijn (zoals LOTR's Frodo, maar dan zonder het haar), dus het is voor mij belangrijk om mijn teennagels perfect gelakt te houden ter compensatie van het feit dat mijn voeten helemaal uit verhouding zijn.

Truth and Suited Perfectly are swatched in 3 very thick coats. They are both very sheer.
My Dying Love looked great in one coat, but I did two anyway.

On my ringfinger I tried a glittersandwich using Suited Perfectly and Nubar Black Polkadot (2 coats Suited Perfectly + 1 coat Black Polkadot + 2 coats Suited Perfectly )

Truth en Suited Perfectly zijn allebei geswatched met 3 dikke lagen. Ze zijn erg transparant.

My Dying Love zag er super uit met 1 laag, maar ik heb er toch maar 2 gedaan.
Op mijn ringvinger heb ik een glittersandwich geprobeerd met Suited perfectly en Nubar Black Polkadot (2 lagen Suited Perfectly + 1 laag Black Polkadot + 2 lagen Suited Perfectly)

I'm so happy with all my new Misa polishes! I adore this brand, even though their collections are not always innovative or spectacular.
What they sometimes lack in originality they make up for in quality, amazing wear and application.

Ik ben zo blij met mijn nieuwe Misa lakken! Ik ben echt gek op dit merk, ondanks dat hun collecties niet altijd vernieuwend of bijzonder zijn.
Wat ze soms missen in originatiteit maken ze goed in kwaliteit, lange draagtijd en makkelijke applicatie.

China Glaze - Techno Teal (DV8's pretty older sister )

Were you all as excited as I was at the beginning of this year when you heard that China Glaze was making another holographic collection called Tronica? I bet most of you were. And were you also as disappointed as I was when you saw the first Tronica swatches? I best most of you were too. It's not that the colors aren't nice, but they look so much like the colors from the OMG collection, without the stong holo. As much as I adore that collection, I wanted to see some new colors. Despite that I bought Techno Teal (as understudy for DV8), and that's the one I'm showing you today!

Waren jullie ook zo enthousiast begin dit jaar toen China Glaze bekend maakte dat ze een nieuwe holografische collectie Tronica gingen uitbrengen? Ik denk dat de meeste van jullie dat ook waren. En waren jullie ook zo teleurgesteld toen jullie de eerste swatches van Tronica zagen? Ik denk dat jullie dat ook wel waren. Het is niet dat het geen leuke kleuren zijn, maar ze lijken gewoon erg veel op de kleuren uit de OMG collectie, zonder de felle holo. Ondanks dat ik dat een tegekke collectie vond, wilde ik nu wel wat nieuwe kleuren zien. Ondanks dat wilde ik wel Techno Teal van Tronica (als vervanger voor DV8) en dat is degene die ik je vandaag laat zien!

Color
Blue teal with subtle holo. Teal must be my fav color and this one is perfect. Looks like DV8's older sister, equally pretty but a little less flashy.

Kleur
Blauwe turkoois met subtiele holo. Blauw turkoois is waarschijnlijk wel mijn favoriete kleur en deze is echt perfect. Ze lijkt op het oudere zusje van DV8, net zo mooi, maar iets minder opvallend.

Application
Onecoater! I actually thinned it a bit because it was too thick, but once that was solved this applies like a dream. One coat. Love it.

Applicatie
Eén laagje! Ik heb de lak wel wat verdund omdat het te dik was, maar als je dat hebt opgelost lakt dit helemaal geweldig. Eén laag. Ik hou ervan.

 I'm disappointed in China Glaze for being little creative in choosing colors for this collection and 'stealing' colors from a previous collection. But I'm also glad I have an understudy for DV8, I can use Techno Teal now so I can save my last bit of DV8 for special occasions.

Ik ben echt teleurgesteld in China Glaze dat ze zo weinig creatief zijn geweest met het kiezen van kleuren voor deze collectie en dat ze kleuren hebben 'gestolen' van een vorige collectie. Maar ik ben ook wel blij dat ik nu een vervanger heb voor DV8, nu gebruik ik Techno Teal meestal zodat ik mn laatste restje DV8 kan bewaren voor meer speciale gelegenheden.

The one polish to rule them all: Rescue Beauty Lounge - Scrangie

In 2009 Rescue Beauty Lounge asked three of the biggest nailpolish bloggers to create their dream polish. One of those polishes created one of the biggest hypes and most lemmings ever amongst us polishaddicts: Scrangie ( I'm not going to explain who Scrangie is, that's like explaining who Madonna is. Like Madonna she also doesn't need a last name ). Ofcourse it was sold out soon and that's when it all started to get ugly, bottles of this already high priced polish were sold for insane amounts on Ebay. Fortunately for all us addicts, Ji Baek (owner RBL) decided to bring it back temporarily, but it's already sold out again. I just checked Ebay and someone sells a bottle of Scrangie for $ 74,99 !!!!!
So if you missed out (again), you can enjoy the following pictures.

In 2009 heeft Rescue Beauty Lounge 3 van de grootste nagellak bloggers gevraagd om hun ultieme nagellak te maken. Eén van die lakken heeft één van de grootste hypes ooit veroorzaakt onder de nagellakverslaafden: Scrangie ( Ik ga hier echt niet uitleggen wie Scrangie is, dat is hetzelfde als moeten uitleggen wie Madonna is. Net als Madonna heeft zij ook geen achternaam nodig. ). Natuurlijk was het al snel uitverkocht en toen werd het echt erg, want flesjes van deze toch al dure lak stonden voor een belachelijk bedrag op Ebay. Gelukkig besloot Ji Baek (eigenaresse van RBL) om deze lak weer tijdelijk terug te brengen, maar ondertussen is het ook alweer uitverkocht. Ik heb net even op Ebay gekeken en iemand verkoopt een flesje Scrangie voor $ 74,99 !!!!
Dus als je deze lak (weer) gemist hebt, dan kan je genieten van de volgende foto's.

Color
Purple with a strong blue/teal shimmer. The shimmer is sparkly in direct sunlight and gives a nice duochrome effect in other lighting. It's not too flashy though, it actually looks quite classy, like jewelry.

Kleur
Paars met een sterke blauwe/turkooise shmmer. De shimmer is glitterend in direct zonlicht en geeft in ander licht een mooi duochrome effect. Het is geen overdreven opvallende lak, eigenlijk staat het best chique, als een sieraad.

Application
I did three coats to get the best coverage, two would have looked nice too, but three was better. 
This isn't my favorite kind of brush, it doesn't fan out as much so you need to do more swipes to cover the entire nail and you could get some streeks if you are not careful. If you paint carefully, you get a nice result.

Applicatie
Hier zie je drie laagjes voor het mooiste resultaat, twee laagjes zou ook prima zijn, maar drie was wel echt mooier.
Het borsteltje is niet helemaal mijn smaak, het is vrij smal en waaiert niet mooi uit waardoor je vaker over je nagel moet vegen om je hele nagel te lakken. Daardoor moet je voorzichtiger werken, anders heb je wellicht een streperig resultaat. Als je voorzichtig lakt ziet het er mooi uit.

On the picture above you can see how this polish looks most of the time. Other pictures are made in direct sunlight to show the pretty shimmer better.

Op de foto hierboven zie je hoe deze lak er meestal uitziet. Andere foto's zijn gemaakt in direct zonlicht zodat je de mooie shimmer beter kan zien.

What you don't see on these pictures is that I'm wearing Cult nails Perfecting Basecoat and Cult Nails Wicked Fast Topcoat. I wanted to do a weartest with them and this mani lasted 6 days without any damage and only the slightest tipwear. I finally removed it because I wanted to do some swatching.

Since then I used Cult Nails base and topcoat for every mani and they are very good. If you can get them I suggest you gie them a try.

Wat je niet ziet op deze foto's is dat ik Cult nails Perfecting Basecoat en Cult Nails Wicked Fast Topcoat draag. Ik wilde een draagtest doen met die lakjes en deze mani bleef 6 dagen mooi zitten zonder een enkele beschadiging of slijtage. Uiteindelijk heb ik de lak eraf gehaald omdat ik wat wilde swatchen.

Sindsdien heb ik Cult Nails base en topcoat voor iedere mani gebruikt en ze zijn echt goed. Als je ze kan krijgen dan raad ik je aan om ze eens te proberen.

Ofcourse I really have to thank my friend ( and fellow polishaddict ) Roos for giving me this very special polish. I never asked her to get this for me on her trip to NY, so you can imagine the surprise when she gave it to me as a belated birthday present. After I recovered from the shock I couldn't stop smiling, it was the best present I got this year!

Uiteraard moet ik echt vriendin Roos (mede nagellak verslaafde) bedanken voor deze zeer bijzondere nagellak. Ik heb haar nooit gevraagd deze lak voor me te kopen toen ze naar New York ging, dus je kan je voorstellen hoe ontzettend verrast ik was toen ik dit als een verlaat verjaardagscadeautje kreeg. Nadat ik een beetje bekomen was van de shock kon ik gewoon noet meer stoppen met lachen, dit was het beste cadeau dat ik dit jaar heb gekregen!

China Glaze - Atlantis, a re-review

February 2010 in my second month of blogging I did a post on China Glaze Atlantis, I still took pictures with my cellphone because I didn't have a camera yet. When I was cleaning up my stash a few weeks ago I found it again and thought it needed a second review just because it's pretty and it deserves some bigger pictures.

Februari 2010 was de tweede maand waarin in blogde, ik had nog geen fotoetoestel en maakte nog foto's met mijn mobiel toen ik een post over China Glaze Atlantis deed. Toen ik laatst mn stash aan het opruimen was, vond ik ineens Atlantis weer en besloot dat deze mooie lak een tweede review verdiende gewoon omdat ik 'm mooi vind en dat deze wel wat grotere fotootjes verdient.

Color
Gorgeous teal jelly filled with alot of holographic glitter! Two of my favourite things in one polish!
Doesn't this look amazing? Ofcourse the holo is sooo much more visible in real life. I could stare at it all day :-)

Kleur
Prachtige groenblauwe jelly met een heleboel holografische glitters erin! Twee van mijn favoriete dingen in één lakje! Ohh ziet dit er niet geweldig uit? En dan is het in het echt nog veel meer holografisch. Ik kan er de hele dag wel naar kijken :-)

Application
I layered two coats Atlantis over 1 coat China Glaze Adore which is a metallic blue.
It's a jelly so you'll need at least 3 or 4 coats Atlantis if you don't layer it, but you'll probably still have VNL then. I don't think thats a bad thing with this polish, I've worn it several times like that.
My Altanis has been used alot and thinned alot, I need to thin it every time I use it, but if I do there is no problem at all and I love it!

Applicatie
Ik draag hier twee lagen Atlantis over één laag China Glaze Adore wat een metallic blauw is.
het is dus een jelly en als je het niet over een dekkende lak draagt moet je zeker 3 of 4 lagen Atlantis dragen voor een goed resultaat, maardan zie je nog wel van nagel er doorheen. Dat is helemaal niet erg, zelf heb ik het ook een aantal keren zo gedragen.
Mijn Atlatis is al vaak gebruikt en vaak verdund, iedere keer als ik 'm gebruik moet ik er een paar druppels verdunner in doen, maar dat is het enige probleem met deze lak, verder is 'ie helemaal geweldig.

 Most of you have seen this polish a million times, so if you are here and reading this, that must mean you love this polish as much as I do!

De meesten van jullie hebben deze lak al een miljoen keer gezien, dus als je hier nu bent en dit leest, dat betekent vast dat je net zo gek bent op deze lak als ik!

One of my favorite polishes ever: Chine Glaze DV8 !!! Shown with Konad.

When I bought this polish I didn't know it would be such a huge hype. I just bought it because it's a teal and there is a rainbow in it, how awesome is that! China Glaze really nailed it with this one.

Toen ik deze lak kocht had ik geen idee wat een enorme hype dit zou gaan worden. Ik kocht het gewoon omdat het een groenigblauwe kleur is en er een regenboog in zit, hoe gaaf is dat! China Glaze heeft echt zn stinkende best gedaan op deze lak.

Color
A blue teal with holographic effect that shows up really well in different kinds of lighting, but best in the sun. If the holo doesn't show it is still an amazing color with alot of depth in it because of the holo particles in it. Pure love in a bottle.

Kleur
Een blauwe turkoise kleur met een holografisch effect dat je heel goed ziet in verschillende soorten licht, maar het beste in de zon. Als de holo niet zichtbaar is dan is het nog steeds een prachtige kleur met een boel diepte erin door de holo deeltjes die erin zitten.

Application
It's a onecoater, but there can be terrible dragging if you apply more coats or use it over a regular basecoat. My solution is to layer it over a matching color ( in this case Adore ). DV8 is very opaque so it doesn't affect the color. Layering it also benefits the wear, I wore this for almost a week without chipping. And yes I use topcoat over my holos and I don't think it dulls te holo after the TC is dry.

Applicatie
Het is perfect in één laagje, maar bij een tweede laag kan je stukken van de eerste laag wegvegen, dat gebeurt ook als je het draagt over een normale basecoat. Mijn oplossing is om deze lak te dragen over een bijpassende nagellak (in mijn geval Adore ). Dv8 is erg dekkend dus de kleur ervan zal niet beïnvloed worden door de lak eronder. Als je deze lak over een andere lak draagt blijft je mani ook veel langer zitten, deze mani droeg ik vrijwel een week. En ja ik draag een topcoat over mijn holo's, ik vind niet dat het holo effect erdoor wordt afgezwakt als je TC helemaal is opgedroogd.

This is the mani I wore on Mothersday and for that day I decided it was a good occasion to use te jewel-images from Konad plate M77. I loved how they turned out and think these might be one of the nicest images I've tried so far!

Deze lak droeg ik ruim twee weken geleden met Moederdag en daarom heb ik er wat mooie juwelen op gestempeld van Konad plaat M77. Ik vind echt dat ze leuk gelukt zijn en dat dit misschien wel de leukste afbeeldingen zijn die ik tot nu toe geprobeerd heb!

OPI - Ski Teal We Drop + Konad

A few weeks ago one of my colleagues had her birthday and amongst others she got a bottle of OPI - Ski Teal We Drop. She very kindly offered to let me loan this polish, and this is the mani I did with it.
( and excuse the darker pictures, way too cloudy here )

Een paar weken geleden was een collega van me jarig en ze kreeg onder andere een flesje OPI - Ski Teal We Drop. Ik vond het heel lief dat ze me aanbood dat ik deze mocht lenen en dit is de mani die ik ermee heb gedaan.
( en sorry voor de wat donkere foto's, het is veel te bewolkt )

Excuse the horrific cuticles. The winter has been hard on my hands, my cuticles are peeling off :-(
Riding a bike in the freezing cold is not helping and there isn't enough Lemony Flutter in the world to heal them right now

Color
Dark teal creme, a bit muted or smokey looking.

Kleur
Blauwe creme met een groenige tint erin, beetje smokey achtig

Great, perfection in two coats

Konad
I used an image from plate M69 and stamped with China Glaze Adore
Because I liked Ski Teal We drop so much, I decided to use a smaller image in a color that somewhat matched the base. It turned out pretty well I think.

Konad
Ik heb een plaatje gebruikt van de M69 en gestempeld met China Glaze Adore.
Omdat ik Ski Teal We Drop zo mooi vond, heb ik ervoor gekozen om een wat kleinere afbeelding te stempelen met een kleur die enigszins bij de basislak paste. Het is best leuk geworden vind ik.
