2 different (failed) attempts with BYS red crackle polish

I got BYS Cracked Finish Red in a swap and was so excited about it! Unfortunately I just can't get it to work for me. I took some pictures to show you what happens if I use this polish. Are you ready? Here we go.

Ik kreeg deze BYS Cracked Finish red in een swap en ik was er zo ontzettend blij mee! Helaas krijg ik het niet voor elkaar om er iets moois mee te maken. Ik heb wat foto's gemaakt voor jullie om te laten zien wat er gebeurt als ik deze lak gebruik. Ben je er klaar voor? Daar gaan we dan.

Attempt #1: BYS Cracked Finish Red over an almost wet black base
( te ringfinger is Isadora black graffiti polish over a red base )

Poging #1: BYS Cracked Finish red over een nog wat natte basis van zwarte lak
( op de ringvinger heb ik zwarte Isadora graffiti lak over een rode lak heen )

It took some time untill the crackle-effect started, so I waited untill the polish was dry and this is the endresult: a few cracks and alot of ripples. Yes, I've got a wrinkles on my nails. Don't think that is supposed to happen :-s

Het duurde even voordat het crackle-effect begon, dus ik wachtte tot de lak volledig droog was en toen was dit het resultaat: een baar barstjes en een boel rimpels. Ja, ik heb rimpels op mn nagels. Volgens mij kan dat nooit de bedoeling zijn :-s

As you can see there is a little piece of polish missing in my middle finger. That happend because of the crackling effect.
The BYS polish is very opaque and glossy, only pro about this polish, too bad it didn't work out.

Zoals je kan zien mist er een klein stukje lak op mn middelvinger. Dat gebeurde door het crackle effect.
De BYS nagellak is erg dekkend en glanzend, enige voordeel van deze lak, jammer dat het niet werkte.

Poging #2: BYS Cracked Finish Red over een compleet droge basis van China Glaze OMG

Love my camera, I really do. Without it's macro-shot you would have hardly seen the cracks in the polish. It was extremely subtle and not that visible in real life.

Ik hou van mijn camera, echt waar. Zonder de macro-functie zou je deze barstjes nauwelijks gezien hebben. Het effect was extreem subtiel en erg slecht zichtbaar in het echt.

Too bad that it doesn't do what I hoped for, I had some great plans with this polish, but it was still nice to play with this polish.
Echt jammer dat deze lak niet doet wat ik hoopte, ik had wat goeie plannen voor deze lak, maar het was wel leuk om ermee te spelen.
