W7 - Meteorite with distressed nails / brush stroke manicure

The distressed nails aka brush stroke manicures have been on the blogs for quite a while, but this is my first attempt.
I chose colors that matched W7 Meteorite: metallic gold, kobalt blue + black and white for the distressed effect.

W7 Meteorite is gold shimmer with kobalt blue holographic glitter. On the pictures you see more visible nail line than in real life. This is 3 thin easy coats.

The distressed nails / brush stroke nails are so much easier to do than I expected! You just watch the tutorial by Chalkboard Nails and that is all you need to get started. I used the same polishes on each distressed nail: creme blue, metallic gold, creme white, creme black. For my middle finger I used the creme blue for the basecolor and for my ringfinger I used the metallic gold as basecolor.

Picture above does not do the W7 meteorite justice. In real life the VNL was not that much visible. I chose to show you this picture because the distressed nails / brush stroke mani showed up very well on this picture.
