I made a gradient inspired by a tropical sunset with flowers and studs.
It did not come out the way I wanted it to, but this is my take on this weeks challenge:
First I painted my nails white, when it dried I used a makeup sponge for the gradient. All polished used are several years old, as is the point with this challenge. After the gradiënt dried I stamped flowers on it with a Konad plate and Konad black stamping polish and added a bright blue stud on each flower.
In real life it looked amazing, trust me! The colors looked much brighter, the gradiènt looked smooth and the stamping looked great. and then came the macro-shot :-(
I hate the macro-shot for ruining my tropical mani.
Despite how my mani showed up on the pictures, I do like the gradient. I will do more attempts to get it perfect.
So this was my tropical manicure for this week. I'm not happy with how the pictures turned out, but still the colors look nice together.
I'm really looking forward to next weeks challenge, the theme for may 1st is flowers and I have some great decals I want to use for it!
Thank you so much for watching!!!
And don't forget to check out all the other participants in this challenge!
